Hydro Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF)
The Hydro DAF System is an effective way to remove biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), total suspended solids (TSS) and fats, oils & greases (FOGs) from industrial wastewater effluent. The Hydro DAF is also an effective tertiary treatment system for final effluent polishing. Contaminants are removed using a dissolved air-in-water solution produced by injecting air under pressure into a recycle stream of clarified DAF effluent.
Hydro Screw Press
The Hydro Screw Press System consists of flocculation tank upstream of the screw press dewatering unit. Fabricated from high grade stainless steel 304 (316 available on request) this upward flow mechanical flocculation tank provides contact time for development of a liquid-solid separation and a strong floc formation. As part of package systems, Hydro International also offer Polymer Preparation and batching systems which complete automated batching and dosing of dilute Polymer to the Screw Press flocculation tank.
Hydro Aeration Systems
Aeration Systems are essential in all biological wastewater treatment plants to provide oxygen to bacteria for treating and stabilising the wastewater. Oxygen is needed by the bacteria to allow biodegradation to occur. The supplied oxygen is utilised by bacteria in the wastewater to break down the organic matter containing carbon to form carbon dioxide and water.
Hydro Polymer System
The Hydro Make-Up System can be used in a range of dewatering and chemical coagulation/flocculation applications to batch and condition raw emulsion polymers. The batching system is fully automated and can be connected to downstream processes to provide on-demand flow proportional dosing, increasing process efficiency and minimising operator input.
Hydro Step Screen
Efficient screening is necessary to protect downstream components of wastewater treatment streams, the Hydro Step Screen provides a robust fine screening solution for all applications. With units to serve flows up to 12,000 m3/hour with apertures of 1m to 6mm Hydro will assess client’s requirements on an individual basis and determine the best solution. Our fine screens are suitable for above ground or below ground installation and screenings can be discharged into a compaction system allowing a reduction in waste from site and optimisation of solids leaving sites.
